1. Study the formula sheet.
(a) Be aware of what you are given on the formula sheet and what formulae you will need to know for yourself. eg at National 5 you need to know the formula for the volume of a prism (V = Area of base x height) and Volume of cylinder (same as a cone but without the fraction 1/3). Also Area of a circle and Circumference of circle - don't muddle them up. At Higher you need to know the formula for the "discriminant".
